Special admissions for applicants residing abroad

For international applicants residing abroad, special admissions for applicants residing abroad are available. Those admissions are conducted on schedules different from those of the general admission. Selections are, in most cases, made by documentary screening and online interviews, a procedure that enables international applicants to gain admission without coming to Japan. Depending on the department, the entrance examinations differ as to the schedule, selection method, and application documents.
