Please apply for the Academic Exchange Sessions and/or the SOKENDAI Graduation Ceremony FY2009 through the
AES2009 Official Website (AMARYS).

Application deadline postponed: March 12th (Fri.) 2010.
[NOTE] Even though
you attend only the Graduation Ceremony, the on-line registration is still necessary for all SOKENDAI students and Faculty members.

 

Academic Exchange Sessions

[Date]
March 23 (Tue.) 2010, The Graduation Ceremony will be held on the day following the Sessions.

[Outline]

1. The invited alumni will give lectures about their research process for earning the Ph.D. degree: they and Ph.D. candidates will make poster presentations. The current student without a poster presentation will submit a post participation report within 5 days after participating in the poster tours, so that his/her travel and accommodation expenses will be supported by SOKENDAI.

2. A workshop will be scheduled for the students to provide a valuable opportunity to exchange issues/ideas, and to receive important advice from alumni with experience working overseas.

3. Those who make poster presentations in the academic exchange sessions travel and accommodation expenses will also be supported by SOKENDAI.

4. All the poster presenters should submit their research poster data for a booklet.

[Self-payment] 
Only attending at the Graduation Ceremony, the graduand without a poster presentation in the Academic Exchange Sessions needs to cover his/her own travel expenses and accommodation charges.

Student Discount ticket:

JR offers students a 20% discount for one-way travel of 100 km or longer (gakusei waribiki).

[Temporary Nursery Room]
A temporary nursery room will be available to participants in both/either Academic exchange sessions and/or SOKENDAI's Graduation Ceremony. If you would like to use the nursery room, you should submit an application in the required form (Appendixes 1 and 2) to jtb_convention(at)jtb.jp by e-mail by March 2nd (Tue.) 2010. (Must be received by this date). 

(Appendix 3) should be submitted on the day using the nursery room. Please refer to Appendix:“How to apply for Nursery room” for details, and more information, please contact the Student Welfare Section.
