The following 3 recipients were selected for the 7th SOKENDAI Awards.

SHAN HEJUN

  • Doctoral thesis: Transformation of Urban Space in Modern Qingdao: Continuity and Discontinuity of Japanese Elements
  • Comment:
I am very honored to receive the SOKENDAI Award this time. Without the doctoral advisor and NICHIBUNKEN others professor's help, I would not have achieved such results. And because of the substantial research support system, such as The Short-Stay Study Abroad Program, we can carry out data collection and investigation more smoothly. I would like to take this opportunity to express my thanks to the support of SOKENDAI and NICHIBUNKEN. In the future, as a graduate of SOKENDAI, I'd like to continue to do my best to become a researcher with interdisciplinary and international characteristics.
