Call for applications： Kawashima Shoshi Memorial Scholarship Fund AY 2026 Scholarship
To. Privately financed international students,
Kawashima Shoshi Memorial Scholarship Fund is now accepting applications for AY2026 scholarship from privately financed international students. This scholarship requires the university's recommendation.
If you wish to apply for this scholarship, read the application guidelines carefully and submit all the necessary documents by the deadline. Please check the notification by your department/program office for detailed information. The applicant must have a good command of Japanese.

【Amount of Scholarship】 JPY 1,440,000 per year (disbursed twice a year in April and October)
【Duration of Scholarship】two years (April 2026-March 2028)
【Eligibility】*Confirm the application guideline for details.
1. Overseas students with non-Japanese nationality who will be enrolled in SOKENDAI as of April 1, 2026.
Those who have excellent academic performance with a good personality and are in need of financial support to continue studying in Japan.
2. Recipients of other scholarships with a monthly amount of JPY 50,000 or higher are ineligible.
3. AY2025 scholars who satisfy the above-mentioned eligibility and wish to apply for the AY2026 scholarship.
