Yasu Direct Mail Magazine No. 5 (June 1, 2015)
Now that we are in the season of new greenery, I am sure that you are all vigorously engaged in your studies and research. I also hope to receive "green energy" from the young leaves and enrolled students as I make devoted efforts towards university reform.
In Yasu Direct Mail Magazine No. 2, I wrote, "When you publish a paper or book, please contact the central administration office (yasu(at)soken.ac.jp)".
Students can now post information about the papers and books they publish on The Graduate University for Advanced Studies Library's Repository. Accordingly, if you publish a paper (that is peer reviewed) or book please send the following information to yasu(at)soken.ac.jp. Only bibliographic information will be included; the paper itself will not be posted. In particular, please let us know if you published anything during the previous fiscal year.
The following information is required for posting on the Repository.
1. Paper/book title
2. Language used
3. Full names of all authors (underline the names of SOKENDAI students)
4. Name of journal in which it was published
5. Volume/number of journal in which it was published
6. First and last page number
7. Date published (Western calendar)
8. E-mail address and contact information of representative author
The information you provide will also be included in SOKENDAI Annual Report (tentative name) that is scheduled to be published each year. However, please note that this only applies to papers or books in which your affiliation is clearly stated as "SOKENDAI".
Papers or books published in 2014 (January to December) will be included in this year's Annual Report. We apologize for the short notice, but please provide information about these by June 30, 2015.
Releasing and creating widespread knowledge of this evidence of your activities is a way to improve SOKENDAI's presence and visibility, so I kindly ask for your cooperation.
I look forward to your achievements. Until next time!
