Regarding Co-Creation Activity Support Expenses

To support students who voluntarily engage in co-creation activities across institutions, universities or companies, we provide financial assistance for travel expenses. In addition to travel costs, small expenses such as venue rental fees and honoraria for guest speakers may also be supported.

1.Eligible Activities

Co-creation activities such as joint research or seminars voluntarily conducted by students of this university, with clear objectives and implementation plans.
Note: Joint research or seminars commissioned by research advisors or conducted by the student’s affiliated institution are not eligible.

2.Funding Amount

(1)Maximum support per project: ¥200,000
(2)Annual support budget: Approximately ¥3,000,000 (¥1,500,000 for FY2025)

Note: Expense execution procedures will be handled by the Hayama Headquarters. Please apply after understanding the guidelines for expense execution.

3.Eligible Expenses

(1)Travel Expenses
Support is provided for travel expenses necessary for joint research or seminars.
Only students of this university and recipients of honoraria are eligible.

(2)Other Expenses(※1)
①Venue Rental Fees:Support for venue rental fees necessary for joint research or seminars, including fees for equipment used during meetings.
②Honoraria for Guest Speakers:Support for honoraria for external speakers necessary for seminars.
③Other Expenses:Support for other expenses deemed truly necessary for joint research or seminars, in addition to venue rental and honoraria.

※1 Applications for only “Other Expenses” are not accepted.
※2 The Co-Creation Support Division of the Center for Educational Planning and Development will review whether the expenses are appropriate and truly necessary in light of the purpose of this program.

Note:
・If the deadline falls on a holiday (Sunday, Saturday, or public holiday), the deadline will be the nearest preceding business day.
・For FY2025, applications will be accepted only for plans starting from October. The deadline for this category is September 30.

・Request your supervisior to prepare the approval letter.

8.Selection Method

The Co-Creation Support Division of the Center for Educational Planning and Development will determine acceptance through document review. The amount of support will be assessed based on the implementation plan.

9.Notes on Application and Selection

(1)Use the designated forms for application.
(2)If any false information is found in the documents, the acceptance may be revoked even after approval.
(3)A report must be submitted after the completion of the project.
(4)You may be asked to cooperate with projects conducted by the Center for Educational Planning and Development or the university’s public relations activities.
