University Recommendation
SOKENDAI will recommend for the MEXT Scholarship academically outstanding individuals who are considered to be in need of a scholarship. Individuals who are coming to Japan to study at SOKEDAI as Research Students or degree-seeking graduate-level students are eligible for SOKENDAI recommendation. The examination schedule, selection methods, and application documents vary depending on each department, For more details, please refer to the application guidelines of each program below.
The applicant must hold a nationality of a country that is specified by MEXT. The applicant who holds Japanese citizenship or a nationality of a country that is not specified by MEXT at the time of application is not eligible.

Given the spread of the novel Coronavirus throughout the world, there is a possibility that the SOKENDAI Admission might be modified or cancelled depending of the future situation of the effects of Novel Coronavirus Infection.
